Belle the Mushroom & 2nd Plush You submission finished

For this one I really wanted to add a crocheted detail because the little flowers reminded me of crochet. And, at first I wasn't sure about the result... but now that I've looked at it for a while, I like it. I don't think it would work on most of my mushrooms, but I like it for this pattern. Maybe I can do the spots on the head in crochet in the future when I feel it fits?

Jean-Michel visitait Paris

Thank you to Calix and his sister for sending these in to me!!! and there are more... I can't wait to see them all- how fantastic!

I love making mushrooms, especially when I see how appreciated they are :) truly so cool :)

My fave picture so far is of Jean-Michel drinking a creme, because I love the napkin with the drawing of the Tour d'Eiffel on it ;)

Baby blanket finished

My first blanket finished :) I have one that's been in the works since winter, that I just haven't finished but I'm hoping to finish that one up real soon too. But I love the way this one turned out, now I want to make one for myself and my sister... and who knows maybe one for the shop if there was interest in it. I just love crocheting those squares- definitely one of the most relaxing things I've made.

Astulabee via Lensbaby

Recently, I received my pony from Nicole. I love it!

I had been wanting a lensbaby for a while and the other day I decided to go for it. I figured for $75 it would be worth the fun even if it wasn't a very serious lens. Today I got it and of course had to play with it right away. Considering the bad lighting conditions and just starting out, I was happy with the possibilities. I think it'll be great for portraits and plushy photos!

This is definitely one of my all-time fave plushies and that says a lot because I have a huge collection, bigger than I'd like to admit. I love my woodlander.

I've always thought Nicole's plushies are very dream-like and so this lens is perfect for taking pics of them ;) Btw, go check out her etsy, flickr & blog to see fantastic things ;)

Blanket is almost done, now I just have to put some edging on it.
