Cute Asses for Obama

ok, so I didn't make this... but talented Caffaknitted came up with this wonderful design to help out the Obama campaign. All the money she raises from the pattern sales will go to help the Obama campaign. I was thrilled when I saw this and had to share with the rest of you who may not have seen this. So go to her etsy shop here or check out her blog here for more info! I know I will be purchasing a pattern the minute I'm done with this blog post :)

Spring SALE over at my Etsy shop

just wanted to let you guys know I'm having a little sale over at my etsy shop. I was Spring cleaning over the weekend and realized that I had too many plush hanging about in my apartment and as cute as they are... they are taking up too much room. I know it's sad... how could 4 plush put me over the edge? Well, my apartment is very small and even the smallest amount can make it look messy unfortunately (at least in my head). So I hope some of you will benefit from my cleanliness obsession ;-)

3 Little Froggies Having Lunch

these are some froggies I crocheted up for some co-workers and I got a new re-ment set (my second ever). I try to avoid the re-ment even though I think they are extremely cute! They just tend to drive me crazy because all of the little pieces and then I get worried I'm going to loose them. And they get knocked over all the time... but when I saw this mushroom set, I couldn't resist. And now I want the rest in this set... they just go so well with these froggies!

My Piggie Bank

just wanted to share this piggie bank that I made during Craft Club (a club I organize at my work). Seems like it was a pretty successful project, mostly everyone finished theirs within the hour we have for lunch and seemed to have a lot of fun with it. Now i just need to figure out what kind of sealer to use for it ;-) and do some touch ups. I'd like to do a bigger one in the future, it was really tough to put a lot of detail into it. Can you tell I'm proud of this one? ;)

Penelope the Rabbit

Penelope likes summer most of all. She loves eating ice cream and doesn’t mind it when it drips all over the place. She’s not very concerned with cleanliness; she’s a kid after all. Her best friend is a little duck whom she likes to feed breadcrumbs every day. She loves to smell the summer air. She can smell lots of things, sun tan lotion, citrus, the beach, the grass… She likes to frolic around because she’s just such a happy little bunny.

So this time around, I decided to add a handmade rattle on the inside of my rabbit. I was quite pleased with the results. It makes a nice chime and rattle :) I think little ones will enjoy it a lot. Also, instead of my crocheted tail, I made a pom pom tail. I really like the result, what do you guys think?

DRM & Raisin the Rabbit

thanks to Dave for posing with my Rabbit :)

I'm kind of trying to complete two things at a time with these, show off my handmade creations and take portraits of my friends. I just thought it was a cool way of showing them off.
